Whenever anyone hears or has been in a foster care system, it can be very difficult to find college tuition opportunities. In this case, there is a section of scholarships solely available to foster youth. In the United States, there is a large amount of youth that are inducted into foster care. • South Dakota – scholarship worth $3,000 per year to foster students to attend college.
• Virginia – Virginia Tuition Grants – Great Expectations to help with continued support throughout college.
• Kansas – waiver program – always students to attend state college with no need for payment from the student.
• Texas – Texas Provision – since 2003 Texas is assisting with higher high school education for foster youth so they can attend college without challenges. 

Most states are opting for an online college courses, an online degree, or online distance learning to continue forth these scholarships.
